Luxury Vinyl Plank Flooring
Luxury vinyl plank — LVP for short — is the floor we install most often. It is 100% waterproof, it goes right over a concrete slab, and it stands up to pets, furniture, and everyday traffic.
Installed from $3.99 per square foot, with removal and haul-away of your old carpet, laminate, or vinyl already included.
LVP is a floating floor, so in many homes it can go right over existing linoleum, as long as it is solid, clean, and flat. If the old floor is loose, cracked, or uneven, it has to come out first — and we will tell you that at the measurement, not on installation day.
Price includes material and installation, plus removal and disposal of existing carpet, laminate, or vinyl. Ceramic tile and hardwood removal, baseboards, quarter round, and transitions are quoted separately. Final price confirmed after the free in-home measurement.

The number that matters most is the wear layer — the clear top layer that takes the scratches. Most retail vinyl plank is 12 mil. Everything we install runs 20 up to 28 mil. On a floor you plan to keep for twenty years, that difference matters.
Laminate Flooring
Laminate is the budget-friendly wood look. Our laminate starts at 8 mm AC2 and goes up to 14 mm AC5. The AC number is the abrasion rating: the higher it is, the more foot traffic the floor can handle.
Laminate is water-resistant. It handles the everyday spills you wipe up. We also carry a laminate line rated to resist standing water for up to 300 hours. We will show you which option fits each room at the measurement.
That is why we walk through the house room by room with you. Laminate is a great choice for a bedroom, a den, or a home office. If the same floor runs from the entry through the kitchen and out to the lanai, we will usually recommend 100% waterproof vinyl plank.
Old floor removal is included with laminate the same way it is with LVP.
Carpet Installation
Carpet still makes sense in a bedroom, and we install a lot of it. It is quieter, warmer over a slab in January, and softer underfoot when you get up at night.
Every carpet quote we write includes the padding, the tack strip, and hauling the old carpet away. We never quote a low price and then add the pad as a separate line. The pad is not an upgrade — it is what makes the carpet last.
We bring the carpet samples to your house so you can see the color against your own walls, in your own light, at the time of day you actually use the room. Carpet looks completely different under showroom lights than it does in a Florida living room at four in the afternoon.
Most bedrooms are done in a day.
Tile Flooring
We install porcelain and ceramic floor tile.
Porcelain tile is the hardest, most water-resistant surface we install, and it performs well on a Florida slab. It stays cool, it is not affected by humidity, and a well-installed tile floor outlasts everything else on this page.
Tile costs more to install than LVP or laminate, and the difference is labor, not material. Tile has to be set in mortar, cut around every door jamb and toe kick, spaced, grouted, and cleaned, so the job takes much longer. The slab also usually needs to be flattened first, and we check that with a straightedge at the measurement.
If you are tiling a lanai, let us know at the visit — an outdoor slab or a covered lanai is prepped differently than an indoor room.
Baseboards
A new floor usually calls for new baseboards, and most installers do not mention it until the floor is already down.
Here is why it matters. When the old floor comes out, the old baseboards often come off with it or get damaged. When the new floor goes in, it needs an expansion gap along the wall, and that gap has to be covered. There are two ways to do it: reinstall the old baseboards and add shoe molding along the bottom, or install new, taller baseboards that cover the gap on their own and give you a clean finish.
Baseboards are quoted by the linear foot, and the number is on the same written quote as the floor. Same crew, same day, no second contractor to schedule. We haul the old baseboards away with the old floor.
Decide this before installation day, not after. It is a small line item on the quote, but a headache if you wait.
Old Floor Removal and Disposal
Yes, we remove your old floor and haul it away, and it is already included in the price. No dumpster rental, no trips to the dump, and no pile of old carpet sitting in your driveway for a week.
Removal of carpet, laminate, and vinyl is included in the installed price on every quote we write.
Ceramic tile and hardwood removal are quoted separately. That is not fine print, and we are not hiding it. Tearing out tile mortared to a slab, or hardwood glued or nailed down, is heavy, slow, dusty work, and the price depends on how the floor was installed. We look at it, give you the number at the visit, and put it on the written quote.
Sometimes the old floor does not have to come out at all. If your existing linoleum is flat, solid, and clean, we can often install floating vinyl plank right over it. That saves you money and a day of noise. We will let you know which option works once we see it.
