Directions

How to Find Us on US-441

We are on US-441 in Summerfield, between Belleview to the north and Lady Lake to the south. Look for suite 602 in the plaza — the address is 16770 US-441 Ste 602, Summerfield, FL 34491.

Coming from The Villages or Lady Lake, drive north on US-441 for about 10 minutes and we are on your side of the highway before you reach Belleview. Coming from Ocala or Belleview, drive south on US-441 and you will reach us in about 8 minutes from downtown Belleview. Coming from Leesburg or Fruitland Park, take US-27/441 north through Lady Lake and stay on 441 into Summerfield.

If you miss the turn, call (352) 425-6387 and we will walk you back in.

Parking and access

Parking is right outside the suite door, so there is no long walk from the car. If you use a walker or a cane, tell us when you call and we will meet you at the door. If a trip to the showroom is not comfortable or not convenient, skip it. We will bring the samples to you.

In-Home Visit

Or Let Us Come to You

You do not have to drive anywhere to pick a floor. We bring the showroom to you — samples, measuring tape, and a written quote before we leave your house.

How the free in-home visit works

You call (352) 425-6387

Or send the form, and tell us which rooms you are thinking about.

We set a time that works for you

Morning or afternoon, your choice.

We arrive with samples

And lay them out on your own floor, in your own light, next to your own furniture. A plank that looks gray under store lights can look brown in your living room. This is the part people tell us they wish they had done first.

We measure every room

Check what is on the floor now, and look at what is underneath.

You get a written quote before we leave

Material, labor, removal, haul-away, baseboards if you want them. One number, on paper, no homework for you afterward.

There is no charge for the visit and no obligation to buy anything. If you want to think about it for two weeks, the written quote goes in your kitchen drawer and waits for you.

Marion County

Flooring in Marion County, FL

Our showroom sits in Marion County, so this is the county we cover most often.

Most homes here are built on a concrete slab, and most of what we pull up is carpet from the living areas and ceramic tile from the entry, kitchen and baths.

Old carpet, laminate and vinyl removal and haul-away are included in your quote. Ceramic tile removal is quoted separately, because it is a slower, dustier job and we would rather show you that line item than hide it.

A Marion County, FL neighborhood near Summerfield where MCP Flooring installs flooring

Summerfield

Summerfield is home. Our showroom is here on US-441, and most of the houses we work in are slab-built homes from the 1990s and 2000s in and around Del Webb Spruce Creek, Stonecrest, Spruce Creek South and Orange Blossom Hills. The pattern is almost always the same: carpet in the living room, family room and bedrooms, and 12-inch or 16-inch ceramic tile in the entry, kitchen and hallway. Homeowners here usually want one continuous floor through the whole main area with no thresholds to catch a toe. Because we are minutes away, we can often stop by the same week you call. See flooring installation in Summerfield, FL.

Ocala

Ocala is about 15 miles north of our Summerfield showroom, roughly 25 minutes up US-441. Ocala is two different jobs in one city. In the newer subdivisions on the southwest and southeast sides, homes sit on slab and the work looks a lot like Summerfield. But in the historic district and the older neighborhoods in southeast Ocala, we find wood subfloor over a crawl space — and that changes things. A wood subfloor can flex, squeak or sit unevenly after 60 or 70 years, and it usually needs to be checked and firmed up before a floating floor goes down. We check that during the in-home measurement, before you get a number, so the quote is not a surprise.

Belleview

Belleview is about 4 miles north of our showroom on US-441 — roughly 8 minutes, the shortest drive in our service area. Most Belleview homes we work in are slab-built block homes from the 1980s through the 2000s, in the neighborhoods off US-441 and around Lake Lillian, plus a good number of homes on larger lots east and west of the highway. Carpet and ceramic tile are the two things we remove most. Because Belleview is so close, we can bring samples out, measure and get back with a written quote quickly — and our crew is not fighting an hour of traffic on install day.

Marion Oaks

Marion Oaks is about 20 miles southwest of the showroom, around 30 minutes. Marion Oaks has a high number of manufactured homes alongside its block homes, and that matters more than most people expect. A manufactured home has a plywood subfloor instead of a concrete slab, so the prep is different, soft spots have to be found and fixed first, and the transitions at doorways are handled differently than in a slab house. We install luxury vinyl plank in manufactured homes regularly and we will tell you honestly during the measurement if a spot in the subfloor needs attention before the new floor goes down.

Silver Springs

Silver Springs and Silver Springs Shores sit about 18 miles north and east of our Summerfield showroom, roughly 28 minutes. Most of what we see out there are concrete-block homes on slab built in the 1970s and 1980s, many of them with long center hallways and older 12-inch ceramic tile that has been down for decades. Two things come up constantly in these homes: whether the new floor can go over the existing tile, and what it costs to take that tile out. Both answers depend on how flat and how sound the tile is, which is why we look at it in person instead of guessing over the phone.

Book a visit in Silver Springs

Dunnellon

Dunnellon is about 30 miles northwest of the showroom, roughly 45 minutes, and it is the farthest point we cover in Marion County. Homes around Rainbow Springs, Rainbow Lakes Estates and the river run older and more mixed than the rest of the county — some newer slab homes, some frame homes on piers, some seasonal places that sit closed up for months. Homes near the water live with more humidity, and that is a real argument for waterproof vinyl plank over laminate. Because it is a longer trip, we schedule Dunnellon visits in blocks, so call ahead and we will put you in the next run out that way.

Sumter County

Flooring in Sumter County, FL

Sumter County is just south of us on US-441, and it is where most of our 55+ work happens.

The homes are newer than Marion County's, the floors are usually original to the build, and the communities have rules — about work hours, about gate access, about where a truck can park. We know how to work inside those rules.

The Villages

The Villages starts about 10 miles south of our Summerfield showroom, roughly 15 to 18 minutes down US-441. The Villages spans parts of Sumter, Lake and Marion counties, and we serve it on all sides. Most homes we work in are villas, ranch homes and designer homes built after 2000, with carpet in the living and dining areas, ceramic tile in the entry and kitchen, and tile or paint on the lanai. Ceilings are a standard height and rooms flow into each other, so a single continuous plank through the main living area makes a small home read much larger. Before we schedule, we ask three questions: does your community require ARC or HOA approval for a floor change, what are the allowed work hours, and do we need gate access for the crew. Call (352) 425-6387 and we will book a visit in The Villages.

Wildwood

Wildwood is about 18 miles south of our showroom, roughly 25 minutes. Wildwood is changing fast. South of SR-44 there is a large amount of new construction, much of it recent slab homes with builder-grade carpet and builder-grade tile that homeowners want upgraded within the first few years. North and west of town there are older Wildwood homes, some on smaller lots, some on acreage. New builds usually mean an easy removal — carpet comes out fast, and carpet, laminate and vinyl removal and haul-away are already in your quote. Older Wildwood homes need a closer look at what is under the current floor.

Book a visit in Wildwood

Oxford

Oxford is about 13 miles south of the showroom, roughly 20 minutes, and it is the smallest community we serve regularly. Oxford is a mix: villa and condo homes in developments like Lakeside Landings, plus ranch and rural properties on larger parcels along CR-466 and US-301. Condos and villas often have upstairs and downstairs neighbors, which brings up sound — an underlayment and the thickness of the plank both change how much noise travels. Rural properties bring up the opposite problem: dogs, boots and dirt. That is where a 20 mil wear layer earns its money.

Lake County

Flooring in Lake County, FL

Lake County is southeast of us, down US-27/441 through Lady Lake and on toward Leesburg, Eustis, Tavares and Mount Dora.

The farther southeast you go, the older the housing stock gets, and the more likely we are to find a wood subfloor instead of a slab. It is the same team and the same written quote — we just plan more travel time into the schedule.

The MCP Flooring van on a residential street in a Lake County, FL neighborhood we serve

Lady Lake

Lady Lake is about 7 miles south of our showroom, roughly 12 minutes straight down US-441. It is one of the easiest trips we make. Lady Lake is a genuine mix: 1980s single-family homes near town, the Villages neighborhoods north of CR-466, and a large number of manufactured homes in communities like Water Oak Country Club Estates. That mix means two very different jobs — slab prep in one house and plywood subfloor prep in the next one down the road. We measure both the same way and price both in writing.

Book a visit in Lady Lake

Fruitland Park

Fruitland Park is about 13 miles southeast of the showroom, roughly 20 minutes. Fruitland Park has older 1980s and 1990s homes around Spring Lake and the original town, plus newer Villages expansion homes on the north side. In the older homes, the most common request is pulling worn carpet out of the whole main living area and running one plank through it. In the newer homes, it is usually replacing builder tile or builder carpet that never suited the owner. Both start the same way: we bring samples to your house, measure the rooms and leave a written quote.

Book a visit in Fruitland Park

Leesburg

Leesburg is about 20 miles southeast of our showroom, roughly 30 minutes. Leesburg has some of the largest 55+ communities in Lake County — Plantation at Leesburg, Royal Highlands and Legacy of Leesburg among them — and those homes are mostly slab-built with carpet in the living areas and tile at the entry. Closer to downtown and the lake, homes get considerably older and wood subfloors show up. Some Leesburg communities have their own contractor sign-in, parking rules or work-hour windows. Tell us your community when you call and we will handle that part before install day.

Book a visit in Leesburg

Eustis

Eustis is about 30 miles southeast of the showroom, roughly 40 minutes. Eustis has one of the older housing stocks in our service area. Around the historic downtown and the lakefront streets, we find frame homes on wood subfloor, sometimes with several layers of old flooring stacked on top of each other and floors that are no longer level. Newer subdivisions on the edges of town are slab. The difference matters, because a floating floor needs a flat, sound surface underneath — an old wood subfloor may need work first, and we would rather find that during the measurement than on install day.

Book a visit in Eustis

Tavares

Tavares is about 28 miles southeast of our showroom, roughly 38 minutes. Tavares is built around the water, and a lot of the homes we see are lakefront or near-lakefront, including the 55+ neighborhoods like Royal Harbor. Two things come up in nearly every Tavares visit: humidity and doors that open straight onto the yard or the dock. Both point the same direction. Waterproof luxury vinyl plank handles a wet mop, a spill and a rainy season without swelling. Laminate is water-resistant, not waterproof — a good floor, but not the one we recommend for a door that opens onto a lake.

Book a visit in Tavares

Mount Dora

Mount Dora is about 33 miles southeast of our showroom, roughly 45 minutes, and it is the farthest city we serve. Mount Dora splits cleanly in two. Near the historic downtown there are older homes with wood subfloors, sloped rooms and original trim that has to be protected during the work. On the other side of town, communities like Lakes of Mount Dora are newer slab homes where the original carpet and builder tile are the usual replacements. Because it is a longer drive, we group Mount Dora appointments — call ahead and we will schedule you into the next trip out that way.

No Trip Charge

Do You Charge to Come Out?

No. The in-home visit is free anywhere in our service area, from Belleview 8 minutes away to Mount Dora 45 minutes away. There is no trip charge, no measuring fee and no obligation to buy anything.

We bring the samples, we measure every room you want quoted, we look at what is on the floor now and what is underneath it, and we leave a written quote with the price on it. If the number works for you, we schedule. If it does not, you keep the quote and we shake hands. The price does not go up because you live 30 miles out instead of 4.

Service Area FAQ

Service Area Questions

What cities does MCP Flooring serve?

We serve 15 cities across three counties from our Summerfield showroom. In Marion County: Summerfield, Ocala, Belleview, Marion Oaks, Silver Springs and Dunnellon. In Sumter County: The Villages, Wildwood and Oxford. In Lake County: Lady Lake, Fruitland Park, Leesburg, Eustis, Tavares and Mount Dora. If your town is not on that list, call (352) 425-6387 and ask — we will give you a straight yes or no.

Do you have a second showroom in The Villages or Ocala?

No. MCP Flooring has one showroom, at 16770 US-441 Ste 602, Summerfield, FL 34491. The Villages, Ocala and every other city on this page are areas we serve, not places where we have an office. We would rather tell you that plainly than let you drive somewhere expecting a store.

How far will you travel from your Summerfield showroom?

We regularly travel up to about 33 miles and 45 minutes from the showroom, which covers everything from Dunnellon in the northwest to Mount Dora in the southeast. The free in-home estimate applies to that whole area. Longer trips like Dunnellon, Eustis and Mount Dora are grouped into scheduled runs, so calling a few days ahead gets you a better appointment time.

Do I have to come to the showroom to pick out a floor?

No. Most of our customers never come to the showroom. We bring the samples to your house, put them down on your existing floor in your own light, measure every room and leave a written quote before we go. If you would rather see the full selection in person, you are welcome on US-441 in Summerfield any time we are open.

Do you remove and haul away the old floor?

Yes. Removal and haul-away of old carpet, laminate and vinyl are included in your quote in every city we serve — you do not pay a separate disposal fee and you do not deal with the debris. Removing old ceramic tile is quoted separately, because it takes far more labor and creates far more dust. We tell you that number in writing before any work starts.
