Meet Matt Pereira and Daniela Portal
Matt and Daniela own MCP Flooring, and they are married. They still run the company themselves, together with our local team in Summerfield.

Why We Bring the Showroom to You

So we do it the other way around. We load the samples into the truck, drive to your house, and lay them on the floor of the room they are meant for. On luxury vinyl plank, the wear layer is the clear top coat that takes the scratches. It is measured in mils. A lot of big-box vinyl is 12 mil. The vinyl plank we install has a wear layer of 20 up to 28 mil.
What exactly is on the quote?
Ours lists material, square footage, removal and disposal, installation, and any baseboards, quarter round, or transitions as separate line items. If a quote is a single number with no breakdown, you cannot compare it to anything.
Who is actually doing the work?
Ask whether the crew works for the company or is a subcontractor hired that morning.

Between the sale and our regular collections, we carry 26 sale colors and 74 regular colors. We describe every one of them the same way: thickness in millimeters, wear layer in mils, plank size in inches, finish, and color. That is what actually tells you how a floor will hold up.
Price includes material and installation, plus removal and disposal of existing carpet, laminate, or vinyl. Ceramic tile and hardwood removal, baseboards, quarter round, and transitions are quoted separately. Final price confirmed after the free in-home measurement.
