Yes. Removing and hauling away old carpet, laminate, and vinyl is included in your quote at no extra charge. We take it out, and it leaves on our truck the same day — no dumpster rental, no trips to the landfill. Old ceramic tile and hardwood are the exceptions: removing them is a much bigger job, so we price it as a separate line item and show you that number before you sign anything.

Not always. Luxury vinyl plank is a floating floor, so in many homes it can go directly over existing linoleum, as long as that floor is clean, solid, and flat. The old floor has to come out if it's loose, cracked, or uneven, or if it's carpet. We check the floor with a level during the in-home measurement and tell you which option fits your home, and any removal is spelled out in the written quote.

Most single rooms are finished in one day. A whole house of around 1,500 square feet usually takes two to three days, including removal of the old floor. It can take longer if we're pulling up ceramic tile or hardwood, if the slab needs leveling, or if you're adding new baseboards. We include the timeline in your written quote, so you know ahead of time which rooms will be usable each night.

Yes. Our crew moves the furniture as part of the job — you don't need to hire anyone or ask a neighbor for help. We just ask that you put away small, fragile, and personal items yourself: lamps, TVs, electronics, photos, and any breakables on display. We work room by room so the house stays livable while we're there, and we put the furniture back when the floor is done.
